These tubes can transport us as a player vertically, i.e. up and down, or horizontally, i.e. left to right, parallel to the ground. In addition, these tubes can transport entities, so we can use them to transport animals and villagers.

To create ascending pipes, we must create the pipe from bottom to top, while if we want it to descend, we must create it from top to bottom. Same for horizontal scrolling. Always build them in the direction we want to travel.
