shoulder surf is a mod that takes care of changing the point of view of one of the cameras in the game. As you know, in Minecraft there are three camera views, which are activated by pressing the “F5” key. A point of view is in the first person, another that allows us to see our character from the front, and a third that allows us to see the character, from behind, in the third person, with the character in the center.

Well, with this mod installed, the last view will change. Instead of seeing the character, from behind, in the center of the screen, it will be on the side of the screen. Therefore, we are talking about an “over the shoulder” point of view, which is a more traditional point of view.
