Realistic torches: Mod for Minecraft (1.12,1.12.2,Mods) [Download]

Realistic torches is a mod that adds realism enhancements to one of the most used objects in the game, lighting torches. The mod adds a new type of torch, which follows the typical crafting of torches, i.e. a staff and a coal unit, while the usual torches will now be crafted with glowstone instead of coal.

The difference of these new torches is that now, after making them, they will be extinguished and we will have to use a lighter to light the fire. Moreover, once turned on, they will turn off after 60 minutes of juice, even due to weather conditions such as rain. If a torch goes out, we will have to use the lighter to relight it.

With these changes, the torches will no longer be permanently lit, which is not very logical. To light the torches, the mod also adds a matchbox as an alternative to the lighter.
