mxTune is a mod that will allow us to make a large number of musical instruments, which, although they will be used to play music (in MML format), cannot be played by us, but will automatically play the score that we insert in each of them the instruments. The difference between the use of a score on one or the other instrument is, obviously, that said score will be reproduced by the characteristic sound of the instrument where it is inserted.

Although it may seem complicated, the operation is simple. Once you have made an instrument and you have a score, or several, you just have to put the musical instrument on the ground and right click on it. This will open the instrument’s inventory and we can place the sheet music. Now we will place the instrument in our hands and press “Shift + right mouse click” to start playing the music.

Currently, we can manufacture a total of eleven musical instruments, which are: tuba, piano, balalaika, mandolin, flute, clarinet, bongos and up to four types of guitar. Instruments can be “played” individually or by creating a party with up to eight friends, so we can simulate a “Jam Session” in Minecraft.

This mod is in beta development stage, so it may still contain errors or bugs. We will publish their respective updates in this same article.
