advanced darkness 1.12.2 is a mod that aims to increase the difficulty of the game, making us live in a world with almost total darkness. By reducing the gamma, light sources have much less ability to illuminate the environment, so seeing what’s around us won’t be easy.

This leads to an increase in danger, since we will have to move carefully in the world, since we can easily fall, or simply not realize that there are enemies near us. Fortunately, and to compensate, the mod adds a lamp, called Comforting Lanterns, which will allow us to illuminate the surroundings of our homes.
